Reverend John P. Williams was born April 5th, 1990 in Shreveport, La to Pastor Roy B. Williams Sr. and Minister Leslie G. Williams.
Reverend Williams matriculated through the Winn Parish and Natchitoches Parish school system and graduated from Natchitoches Central High School in Natchitoches, La. He later attended Northwestern State University in which he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice in 2018. Pastor Williams also attended United Baptist Theological Seminary for several years. He is also in the process of pursuing his Masters of Divinity starting this summer.
Pastor Williams is married to the lovely Lady Andrea M. Williams and they have one daughter Aniyah N. Williams one son Josiah Williams.
Pastor Williams grew up in a very religious home with strong Christian values that were instilled in him by his parents. At an early age he became active in church by serving as an usher, singing in the choir, and playing musical instruments.
During his teenage and college years he served as Minister of Music for several churches leading and directing choirs in worship during service. Pastor Williams is also an accomplished musician in which he began playing musical instruments at the age of 10 and has participated in several musical groups and orchestras throughout the years.
In 2014 Pastor Williams felt the unction of the Holy Spirit and accepted his calling into the preaching ministry in June of 2014 and preached his first sermon September 6th, 2014. God has richly blessed Pastor Williams to preach across the state of Louisiana as well as outside of the state. Pastor Williams believes in the power of preaching that it is God communicating his Word and truth to mankind through appointed men. Pastor Williams accepted the call to Pastor the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church #2 on Easter Sunday April 14th, 2019.
Pastor Williams is active in many facets of both religious and community affairs. First and foremost he is the proud Pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church #2 in Pleasant Hill, La. He is also a member of the Natchitoches Parish Voters and Civic League as well as the president of the NAACP Natchitoches, La Branch. Pastor Williams believes and exhibits both powerful and relevant preaching and teaching through the Holy Spirit that saves the sinner, equips the saints, and exalts the Savior!
